Yet another fantastic day in London. We apparently had class this morning but I really wouldn't call it that. It went about an hour and a half but it was so light and easygoing that it didn't seem like anything at all. I had gotten more than just a couple of hours sleep last night for the first time as well so that probably helped the situation considerably. When class was over with the group all set out of their own adventures today. A group that I went with today headed over to Leicester Square at first, since we had heard that we could get good deals on theatre tickets there. And boy was that true!!
Half price tickets!!
Jenna, Hannah, and I went into this little shop and picked up some tickets for Wicked! Which I am completely excited about since I have wanted to see this show forever!! The show is for next Wednesday which is so great since it is so soon but I am just a little worried since that day is going to be just a bit busy with class in the morning and then a tour of the Globe Theatre until about 3. Lucky for us the theatres are only about 2 or 3 stops on the Tube away from each other, so yay us!! I wish that I had more pictures to show y'all of this little area but there was construction everywhere, and while there were a lot of handsome workers that I would have loved to get pictures of they looked a little cranky and I didn't want them to get mad at me and steal my camera...
When we bought our tickets to Wicked and Jenna had the biggest smile on her face we headed off away from the rest of the group and the three of us made our way over to Piccadilly Circus. We went on the Tube which I realized later was a little stupid since we discovered it would have only been a 10 minute walk from where we had been, oh well, I'm starting to love the Tube ever since the tap dancing evangelist came on once to preach to us about the flesh and the soul. Anyway... Piccadilly was spectacular. Once we got off the Tube I started to hear the sound of bagpipes playing and was gifted with the sight of a hot man. Yea I know shocking, Rachel was attracted a man again. With all of the monuments and architecture here you would think I wouldn't have time to notice these guys but just take a look
Oh yea...
I simply cannot help myself. There were other performers as well if the bagpipes aren't your cup of tea (that phrase means so much to me now that I am over here).
Another statue man
There are apparently statue men all over the place, but this guy was not as good as the one I had posted about previously. The other guy was silver and just a sweet little old man. This guy had no enthusiasm. There was another performer there who kind of reminded me of the Matrix with the music he was playing as well as the fear I had that he was going to attack me for trying to get out of there.... A weird British Mr. Smith, aaahhhh!!! I was too scared to take a picture of him. There was also these two guys...
Mr. Guitar man and the bear/dog/man thing
I am going to be honest, these guys were not performers necessarily. Those are doors to a store behind them and I'm pretty sure that they were suppose to be advertising. If your wondering about that guy not wearing that dog and thinking that you would not want to see any sort of a closer version of him, too bad
AAAHHHH!!!!
Hahahaha, yea I know, but you know what I had to see it so you all did to!! I should really get paid for this picture actually. I'm kind of advertising for their store...
Don't worry, we did more in Piccadilly than look at the crazy street performers since this place was awesome! Before we could do to much though we had to make a stop. Jenna needed her caffeine and she was forced to go way too long without it.
YAY Coffee!!
See!! Just gorgeous!! So after Jenna had her fix we went out for some shopping and spent way too much money! I am not going to say how much just in case my dad reads this blog and lectures me... Anywho... There were a lot of souvenir shops that we stopped into but one of my favorite stores was the gigantic superstore of...
M&M's!!!! It was so cool!!
Yea I felt pretty cool over there. We stayed here for quite awhile before we headed back out into the street and when we finally did we turned onto a small street and found ourselves in China Town.
Sweet!
I was super excited about this until we found out that the drivers here are a little more aggressive than in other areas, so we had to dodge a car or two. Do not worry, there were no injuries just panicked giggling as we were being honked at by certain drivers. Hahahaheheheha....
After a couple of hours we decided we had seen what we needed to for the day at Piccadilly Circus and headed over to Green Park, again taking the Tube which we again didn't need to do since it was again, super close! But across the park we were ecstatic to find ourselves at the Palace, if you do not understand this I mean BUCKINGHAM freaking PALACE!!! Yeah man!! You would not believe my excitement and you would not believe the beauty of this place!!

Yes it was great and amazing. And yes I did search for Prince Harry while I was there. I am still determined to marry him before I leave London. I did get a postcard with him on it though. I just might have to photoshop myself onto it so that you all can see me next to him and know what to expect when you see our wedding invitations.
*BLOG NOT FINISHED WILL RETURN LATER*
Sorry about that little break, I had to go and have a few ales in the pub with some of me mates. And it was such a blast!! I know that I have been mentioning a lot of people throughout my blog that you all have not been able to see so here is a picture of a few of them
This is (from left to right) Hannah B, Hannah A(me mate from Ripon), Karissa, Erica, (in the distance in the red coat you can see) Mallory, (the guy kind of showing a little behind Jenna) is Alex, Jenna, and Kristen. Tonight was so much fun. Everyone at the bar was so friendly, one guy was particularly friendly and sort of hitting on Hannah B. Luckily I was able to sneak her away from the table we were at and to a safe table away from said guy, so all was well. Hannah A and I later met two very interesting gentlemen at the bar whilst ordering our drinks. One named John the other man I do not know the name of but was frustrated by the dreadfully(not the word he was using) cold weather. It was a fantastic night and a great end to the week!
Good night chaps!!
