So I am really sad today, nothing exactly went as planned and it all started with this morning...

So that was suppose to look like a dream wave as we transfer into a memory sequence but it kind of just looks like a line there. Oh well.
So this morning I was suppose to wake up early enough to get ready to leave with Jenna and Hannah to head to this place to get some books for our literature/theatre class but several complications occurred, the first of which being that we all slept in, and the second being that I had not showered the night before and so needed to this morning and that would have made us even later to go to the book store. So sadly I had to duck out of the shopping trip, but that at least gave me some time to myself to just chill and relax. This still did not make for a good morning, however, as it made me really tired and sluggish when I finally did leave the flat.
All this did not phase me though as I kept thinking to myself that my day would improve when I got to my destination-Westminster- and would be able to see the Abbey. hahaha-yea. This did not happen. Let me tell you I was in quite a mood when I learned that I could not enter the Abbey but could only walk around it and take pictures. And you wanna know whose fault it is?? Its all because of Charles Dickens!! Yup you read that right, I could not enter Westminster Abbey because the agenda of a dead guy was more important than that of my and my groups!! It is Charles Dickens birthday by the way, so Happy Birthday big guy! Yea so BBC was apparently there taping something and we couldn't get in. All that we could do was take a good look at the Gothic architecture of the Abbey, which still was pretty darn cool.

Even though I couldn't get in the Abbey it really was pretty cool and pretty, and a majority of us agree that even though we didn't get in today we will get in soon!! Even if I have to wait until Prince Harry steals the throne and has his coronation here (if you don't understand why I would be there for this event its because I'm marrying Harry, its one of the things I was told I could not come home until it happened and who would pass that up anyway?).
Buy yea after we walked around the Abbey in some really cold and windy weather and got so cold I felt like my fingers were going to freeze off, we kept walking outside, because nothing chases the chills away quite like touring around in the winter weather some more. We looked at the architecture of some of the buildings on our way to Trafalgar Square, kind of just looking at random buildings since our entire days plans were messed up (darn you Mr. Dickens!!). But then we finally got to Trafalgar Square and into the National Gallery to see some really pretty paintings, which I of course could not take pictures of, so I am sorry this is a very pictureless blog!!
When we finally got back to our flat after a very disappointing day Jenna and I got right to work making dinner. Jenna made a chicken casserole and I made cheesy potatoes. The casserole turned out great!! It was so yummy and creamy!! The potatoes, however, added to my disappointment in the day. It took forever for the darn things to cook and we finally all just got impatient and ate the potatoes before they were totally done. Oh well, the point is the chicken was good, so yay!!
Overall not my favorite day in London, but tomorrow I know will be better. As long as Mr. Dickens stays out of the picture we are suppose to get a tour of the Globe Theatre and then at night Hannah Jenna and I are going to see Wicked!! Everyone wish us luck in the rest of our journey so that days like these do not come up again.
And if it does at least I have this song and this man to look at to make it so much better...
Alexander Rybak--Roll With the Wind
Have a goodnight all!!
